  • Brilliant, thanks guys. I'm actually inspired to get my thinking cap on see how I could implement some of these tips for my fiction but I'm such a public speaking wimp. I wish I had half Tony's confidence.

Robin glad you enjoyed it . I have done one more interview with Dale on his great cause .

Keep and eye it and remember value comes from within

When you believe it others will

    Cheers
  • OMG! He is so on the money. Never, never, never read a PowerPoint slide to the audience!

Oh thank you for the Picasso story! This is something I know, but could not find the best analogy.

This is one of the best interviews! Bravo!

As an experienced educator, I can confirm Tony's comments about simplifying content: your audience needs to feel comfortable with what you offer, and confident they can absorb the materials, skills, etc. Being personable and sincerely interested in others' growth is the difference between a presenter who connects and one who doesn't.

Thanks to both of you for reiterating that perceived value is measured by the sum of one's efforts and training.
  • Hi Joyce, Thank you for your comment, really pleased that you are enjoying the videos and learning. Keep watching for more great content. Dale

Public speaking eh, gonna have to work on that. Now obviously people go to seminars to learn things about whatever the keynote speaker is talking about. My question is do people do such things with fictional books? And how would they do it?
  • Hi Conner, yeah there are definitely opportunities for fictional writers. There are festivals, book signings or talks in local book stores. Hope this helps, Dale.
