  • Hi Dale,

Thanks for the praise of my book. A lot of credit to you!

I AGREE with you 100%. Building a database or list is so important to sell and upsell to customers. With my second edition of "Public Speaking: Talk Sense, Talk with Confidence" I will include bonuses. Love you shows and think you are a great guy. See you at the Propel Your Profile & Double Your Income on the 20th October.

Keep well and thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Dale - you have such a personable manner. I love your attitude of inviting readers/audiences to connect with you, plus your tips on how to make it easy to get in touch.

I agree with you Dale. This is an awesome way to start and develop a community with your book and other products. When people are thirsty for more, give them something to drink.
  • I agree totally re bonuses. I write business text books, where the first copy reviewed will hopefully spawn the purchase od dozens for group instruction, so I offer copies of spreadsheets illustrated, etc, in return for a name and email address.
  • That is great Eric. Thanks for getting in with your support for the bonuses idea. And you have given some good examples there.

    Talk soon,

    Dale

Good info in this episode. I'll have to wait and see how the free gifts work in a fiction book as it applies more to me. Definitely a good idea to build relationships with your readers. Of course if you get really popular and have a large fan base, being involved with specific people could be harder. I already have a few writer friends which will stick with me, even if I get big. But expanding my friends and fans is all part of the fun.
  • Yes. Look out for Fiction it is coming your way soon! Dale
