    Hi Dale very interesting.

I am a past life regression therapist and have many stories that can make good books, do you know a way I could sell the stories? I am sure there are plenty of good writers that need ideas or plots for books.

    Thanks
    Melina
  • Hi Melina, Try hocking up with a couple of writers groups in your capital city. Then start sharing your ideas and stories and see if anyone gets excited and wants to start document things so they can work them into a story. Alternatively you can write them down and turn them into a book yourself :-) Dale

Once again Dale, good ideas to get some-one started.
In fact, my first book is to be called - Paperless Prophet.
It's about how we turned our office around from 14 x 4 drawer filing cabinets and folders, archive boxes commission statements dating back many years, and anything to do with paper, was converted to a paperless system.
I have documented the cost, and the cost savings as well as other benefits like recovered real estate in the office. It's amazing what you can really think to write about and turn into a book.
  • Hi Nobby, I love the concept for your book. I am very interested in it. You know what, I am thinking that this can be a series. Paperless Prophet for Business, Paperless Prophet for Singles, Paperless Prophet for Families, etc. Think about it and let me know if you think it can work for you or not? Dale

Happy to speak with you on this matter.
The next book I am currently working on might also be of interest.
It's based on money and sex! You'll understand why when we speak.
  • Would you like to fill out the Chat with Dale form and we can then go from there. Also where are you based? Dale

Hi Dale, another great video thank you. I really like the idea of the common saying in a title. Those types of books in the stores always get my attention because I want to know what they mean. Looking forward to tomorrows episode.
  • Thanks Emma for visiting GetPublishedTV.com and leaving a comment
  • Dale,

These book titles are all interesting. My book titile is - Public Speaking : Talk Sense, Talk with Confidence. My title was a bit more direct and not so much with a twist. Do you think it will still be effective?
  • Sounds good! But it is important to have a clear separation between the title and sub-title. So is Talk Sense, Talk with Confidence your sub-title or part of your title? Dale
  • I do not have a subtitle for the book. The full title is Public Speaking - Talk Sense, Talk with Confidence.

PS: I am going to have my book launch in Sydney on Wednesday night the 26th August 2009 and would love to invite you to my launch.

PPS: I was at your book launch for Secrets of male entrepreneurs Exposed and enjoyed it.

I think metaphors and story titles are one of the best. They make you think and are a great play on words. They are also very recognizable. Thanks Dale for another great Get Published TV episode
  • Thanks Mary. I'm glad that you enjoyed today's video. Dale
