Dale, I have thoroughly enjoyed these episodes as I have just finished writing my first non-fiction book and the publisher has asked me to change the name and come up with a really good subtitle. They actually need about 3 options...so I was stuck and decided to search the net for some info that would help me and found your site. This has been a great, great help to me! Thank you so much! I have learnt so much just watching these videos. I particularly like the episode about the shock titles, I think I'm going to go that route. Don't stop...this is good stuff!!
  • Thanks a ton for these videos! They have really helped me forward with my book project.
  • I've written a very technical guide (Inventory Management in Lean Environments), and expect only limited sales, so I'm self-publishing and trying to do all the layout and conversion to printable .pdf format myself (saves quite a bit of $).

Wow! The Adobe utility for this is very powerful, BUT, also very fussy about embedding even normal fonts, grayscales on illustrations converted from colored originals, choice of printing system profile (about 7 different ones), etc.

In short, first-timers should find a good guide or course before attempting this. The Publishers would rather sell the service, so their advice is limited.
  • Thanks Eric for stopping by and leaving your informative comments... Dale
