This was a very interesting episode regarding the book marks. I did not know that there is extra paper left over from the cover. Of course the publisher does not tell you this. Now I know and will definitely attempt to negotiate some book marks from the extra paper. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the video - question: do I have the editor or interior designer to design the book mark for me ahead of time? Please advise- Thank you (www.allogroup.com)

Love this idea. I have seen authors use this. In fact I am adding my book cover for my novel on a business card with all contact to website on it. Also my bank offers photos on the card. Each time I use my card people comment on the picture and I get to talk about my book and direct them to the site by handing over the business card with my info on it! The book mark will add to this. How great. Thanks- Lisa in Alabama, USA

I absolutely love the book cover and design for the Teen Talk series.
    Who was the cover designer?
  • Wow, I'm really enjoying these videos. I found your website a few hours ago and I am already thinking about how to implement your ideas especially this one on bookmarks. My husband and I wrote a great book on marriage and now our focus is getting it out there. Thanks for all the valuable information and I look forward to maybe working with you some day.

Printers who understand the value of relationship building will work with you on maximizing space to reduce paper wastage. I found this to be true in printing an original board-game years ago. Don't be afraid to ask for options......

Hope this helps your viewers, Dale ~ Joyce

Heeey, I didn't know you could do that at the same time as you print books. Cool! Now I'm just wondering how much more it would cost to get like the frilly string stuff at the top of the bookmark?
  • Thank mate. This is a great technique that I can use in my next print run.
  • Check out our latest Episode Trevor as it features your book: http://www.getpublishedtv.com/...

    Hi Dale
This is a great site, and thanks for sharing so much information. You mentioned the book mark idea at a seminar I attended, so I took it onboard, and offer a book mark, with a free give away, so they need to go to my website to get that.
Thanks so much for your training DVD's and CDs. They have been a major source of ideas and information when getting my book published. I'm now working on edition 2 which will be improved, and sold in all book stores world wide, and online. Thanks for your teachings Dale!
