Well my computer broke but I got it all fixed and now I'm back, in case you were wondering. I like the idea of testing and not wasting time trying to make things work with an editor that might not be the right one for you. Sure you might lose a bit of money but I'm sure you would save a lot of time and headache finding someone who is more to your liking. And now its late so I'm off to bed, just thought I'd start to catch up on the days I missed. See you again.
  • Dale,

The whole editing process, as you've explained it, has been very interesting. I have enjoyed the series of episodes. And I had heard of content editors and copy editors but didn't really know the difference. So much good information. Thanks for your efforts.
  • Thanks for commenting again. Glad to know that you are enjoying the videos on Get Published TV. Talk again soon, Dale
  • Never mind, I got the vid working. I heard about paying an editor to look at my work, unfortunately I haven't a dime to my name, how can I spend money on the right editor or any editor for that matter, when I can't even pay for a bottle of soda?
  • yes it is hard to do anything when finances are so tight. Keep working and keep saving. And when the timing is right then come back to it. Kind Regards, Dale

its really an excellent idea to give your potential editor a sample chapter of your book. This is a great way to see if they are the right person to work with. Thanks again Dale for all your great tips.
  • Thanks Lance for being the first to comment on today's video. Dale
