Dale... Are you OK? We miss your smiling face!
  • Hey Dale,
This is Hillel from Philadelphia, PA, USA. Many of my professors at the university have encouraged for me to publish my own book, magazine, and such. However, I just did not know how to go about doing it! I would ask for guidance, and it all seemed endlessly confusing and difficult to achieve. Yes, though I am from America, your program has helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now, all the sound advice that my professors attempted to provide make perfect sense because of your channel. Thank you so much!

I haven't gone through all your videos, but I have seen many related to my specific needs. Being that your program is unique, I request that you discuss some specifics related with book publishing such as how to go about getting it recognized through the US Library of Congress, or how to get a bar code. These are still questions that really is distressing to me at the moment.

Once again, thank you for your assistance. Hillel Ben Yochanan.

    Hi Dale,
Are you aware of any websites which have royalty free quotes?
Can I quote and publish a passage out of another persons book, for example Echart Tolle, without his expressed permission?

    Regards

    Hi Dave,

Thanks for the video How to do a book launch. I did a self publishing the first time but my second book is with a publisher and I am looking forward to launching it. I have more books and a cartoon video based on my writings to do so I am going to find time and go through your series and learn more.

Thanks for the great job and support.

Just to let you know. I am in Ghana in Western Part of Africa.
  • Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all your support and comments. I have been insanely busy over the last couple of weeks. I have been speaking all around Australia and have just launched a new four day seminar in Sydney.

I will be back before christmas with more videos, and then over the xmas break I will make some decisions about how Get Published TV is going to move forward in 2010, because as I know you can appreciate it takes a lot of work to put these videos together.

Looking forward to being in touch soon though.

    Warm Regards.

    Dale Beaumont

Hi Dale, love the videos. But when is your month-long two-week break going to end?
  • AuthorAndMe
Hi i am working on my 2nd book and i wrote my first book in second grade but thats like a little over 150 words. But my second book now is called Mall From Hell and and i am on chapter 4 and i was thinking about going to only 5 0r 10 chapters with it. Should i go further than 5 chapters or 10? or should i just go to 5 or 10? Because i think this book can even be a movie but i don't know.
  • Whew! I'm not as far behind on them as I feared! I've been away myself. Time to catch up.

    Hey

I'v been following your videos and I'v just finished watching your 50th video, and I want to thank you, I'v always wanted to write a book, but never had the time and I also had no idea how to go about it. Well after watching all of your videos and also now I have all the free time I need as I'v finished my degree, I'm getting started to write my first book. I was planning on self-publishing but I have come across a company that is different to other publishers, they give you 100% royalty taking off the book printing costs. The way they do it (thats if you dont know who they are) www.authorhouse.co.uk, they charge £795, so would you be able to say that working this this company would be a good move? It is a PoD when a sale is make they print the copy and send it out, they deduct the printing costs and give me the rest, they dont deduct anything, which too me sounds like a good deal. Just want to know what you think about it?

So any advice for me. I forgot to tell you what type of book I am planning on writing, The book title was going to be something like (How to ACE IT Degree - XHTML - the Underground edition), I want to do something different to other Wed Development books out there. I want to teach IT students the development language and also how to easily get top marks for developing Wed site using this development language for their assignments.

I just discovered your website and am very excited to have found it. Just lately the idea of writing a book has become an interest. I think this website will give me the insight of, if I can do it and how to go about it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
